not quite

he has a year left on his contract but has been told that he won't feature at any level so he should look for another club. He could just sit it out or wait for the club to settle his contract (which doesn't seem to have been offered yet). His name will be circulated and I guess if he doesn't find a club we would look to loan him out and pay part or all of his wages

Not strictly true, he is a young keeper and has been told he won't get much of a chance next season. He could stick around a fight for a place, as has been mentioned only last year he was highly rated and considered to have a good future

Was very impressed with his debut at the end of last season against Yeovil. Defintely thought he was going to be one for the future. If Poke has made that much progress since his pre-season matches, how come he didn't get a game in the final couple of matches, when promotion was secured?

Hope Mitch stays around and can impress his way into the reserves at least.

Maybe they are confident Poke can back up, but not convinced older more expensive Brez is up to it or better value than Poke so rather try him in the end of season games? Maybe this means happy holding onto all three so don't need a fourth option? If were dumping one of the 3 lead guys you'd think we'd at least hold onto Walker till the replacement was found.
