As I'm off on holiday. Absolutely gutted about that and thought today how nice it is to have such high expectations and excitement about a new season. I even considered a 16 hour round trip back to watch it but my wife was not so enamoured by the prospect and cost.

Its made slightly more annoying by the seemingly zero chance of shifting a single ticket on the exchange.

I hate August, my contract requires me to work through-out the whole of the month. I’m not allowed to take holiday and Albion’s 1st game of the season always falls on the ONE Saturday I’m contracted to work in the whole year.

If it’s at home, it’s the only game I tend to miss.

Or in my case, my wife buggered up by booking a holiday for the first day of the season
I don't even have that excuse. To be fair my wife isn't from the UK so we are going to see her family for a few weeks so there was no way of doing it without missing a game, but with a bit of jiggery pokery I probably could have avoided missing a home game.

Same here. Wife booked holiday. We are travelling back that day. I just grunted when she checked the travel dates when we booked it early this year. So my fault..my kids are annoyed. I have 4 season ticket seats to re-sell on the exchange. DOH

I'll be on holiday too. C'est la vie!

Just hoping I'll be able to resell the tickets, given the 'lowly' opposition.

I’ll almost certainly be on the look out for a single on the exchange.

Good stuff. Send me a DM and I'll let you know as soon as its listed.
Hard to gauge how many will be available really but I'd hate them to get hoovered up by overexcited Luton fans.

Just seen this thread which prompted me to check my calendar and guess what? I miss the first home game.

Hopefully, some how, it gets moved to Sunday, but hold zero hope.

Wish I never opened this thread now.

And before you ask, no I didn't check when I booked it, so totally my fault.

I think you'll be alright with 4 to sell. It's the singles that are a bugger to shift
