I have only just realised that 'sugar dark eyes' was in fact 'through the dark night'!!

Drinking in LA - Bran Van 3000

"What the hell am I doing drinking in a lake." (drinking in LA)

Pompeii - Bastille

"How am I gonna big it up to Mr Valdez?" (How am I gonna be an optimist about this?)

You sexy thing - Hot Chocolate

'I believe in Morcos' (Morcos being an island near Mykonos.) Instead of 'I believe in miracles'.

Is that the one where he 'wakes up in the morning, shaving before breakfast'?

Desmond was well known in his day for giving sound and practical personal hygiene advice.

But he was not to be trusted with matches...

Anne-Marie - Ciao Adios

I heard (and will always hear) "Tell Eddie Horse I'm done."

Actual lyrics are "Ciao Adios I'm done."

In my defence, I didn't even know what the song was called, it just kept coming on the radio. To this day, I don't know who Eddie Horse is.

Loath up your gums and be afraid
its mummy lose and shoes pretend
I never knew, a shoe before
oh on an on and know a wur

Hello Hello Hello Helloooo
Hello Hello Helloo Helloooo
Helloo Hello Hello Helloooo
Hello Hello Hello

With the lights out, it's less dangerous
Here we are now, entertain us
I feel stupid, and contagious
Here we are now entertain us
A muscato, a potato
I'm a skater, Im a cheater, YEAH.

I think that's the song I sing "Shower the horse I'm done"

Daydream Believer - "The shaving razor's cold and it's Stings".

Was he sharing a dressing room with The Police?

Heart FM favourite Charlie Puth's song, Attention:

"You've been runnin' round runnin' round runnin' round putting that turtle on my knee"

My brain absolutely refuses to hear the correct lyric ("putting that dirt all on my name" I think).

Also, it's not so much a misheard line, as one that my brain naturally anticipates and corrects, but in Taylor Swift's Twenty Two, I tend to imagine she's informing us it feels like a perfect night to dress up like 'Hitler", rather than "hipsters".

I try to say Goodbye and I choke
I try to walk away and I stumble
Though I try to hide it, it's clear
I wear goggles when you are not here

Yup, me too.

Here's a cheesy one:

Eurythmics (Sweet Dreams): "Who am I to diss a brie"

Even through the darkest phase
Be it thick or thin
Always someone marches brave
Here beneath my skin
Can’t stand gravy
Has always been
