The dull part of the south coast
I was bored so I worked out how many different opposing teams I have seen the Albion play in competitive matches, i.e. non-friendly fixtures. Many of those I very much think we’ll never play again - Scarborough, Rushden and Diamonds, Southport, Workington, Barrow, Learherhead, Walton and Hersham to name a few.

Much as I’ve enjoyed the journey from the bottom to the top of our football world I would prefer that number to be relatively small in the next few years - just to include the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs would be good!

Anyway, has anyone exceeded my 107? I’m sure many have. :drink:

I have trouble remembering every ground I've seen us play at (mid 50's somewhere I think), let alone every team I've see us play :lolol:

I'm rubbish at this stuff, but scrolled through the tables, doing a count.

Of the current 92, I think it is all except: Accrington, Fleetwood, Stevenage and Morecambe (don't think we've played any of those in last 25 years), so that is 88.

From the current 3 National League divisions:

NL: Orient, Wrexham, Barnet, Hartlepool, Halifax, Aldershot, Chesterfield = 7
NLN: Kidderminster, Chester, Boston, Stockport, Darlington, York, Hereford = 7
NLS: Woking, Torquay = 3

Others; Rushden, Stafford Rangers, Northwich Vic = 3

So, I THINK, 108, but I'm sure I've forgotten a few.

You were with me for the Dagenham & Redbridge promotion PARTY weren't you? The one where I walked in 5 minutes late and thus didn't realise our first goal was merely an equaliser. :dunce:

105. Blimey! Maybe a few more (looked down only as far as conference north and south (division 6A and 6B)).

Sorry to be a pedant, but it will be one less as the OP was talking about opposing teams. So you have to exclude us out of the 92 teams.

The Halifax that is playing now, isn't the same Halifax that we played 18 years or so ago, or do re-formed clubs still count?

I'm counting them (Halifax, Darlington, Chester and Hereford). Ask the fans of those clubs if they are the same team.
