I think some places got a bit carried away with their World Cup host cities status. This is a quote from Rita Spada, of the Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce: "Milton Keynes is appreciated as one of the top places. We are in with the big guys of football, such as Liverpool." They now want to use their rugby heritage to host matches in the Rugby World Cup in 2015! With the Cricket World Cup coming up in 2019 I was wondering whether they have a cricket round suitable?

The only highlight of us not getting the world cup is knowing their poxy souless bowl of a stadium will remain unfinished!

Rugby heritage:lolol: Seems they're a bit awry with their geography. Northampton is about 15 miles up the road, chaps. And no, you can't steal another town's rugby club.

They are trying. winkleman has been trying since the stadium was built to poach a rugby club to move there.

So far I know of him trying to get London Irish and WASPS to move but they have both so far turned him down.
