Millwall is a must win game tomorrow

...and I don't want anyone saying...." a draw would be a decent result "
We simply must win. Nothing else will do.
We have not played at home for 5 weeks and fans have almost forgotten what it is like to sit and suffer at Withdean. We have gleaned 7 points from 3 away games ( a good return ) and performed creditably at Villa Park.
Now, it is almost like starting the season again, at home and we have to put our appalling record over the first 12 home games behind us. We have to be convinced that we can beat decent teams at home. The next two up after, tomorrow, Huddersfield and Norwich will be stern tests and a win against Millwall will increase confidence levels.
We also need a minimum of 4 points from the next two games to give us a small buffer before the ' run of death ' starts all over again. After Orient, we face Huddersfield, Norwich, Leeds, Charlton, Colchester and Swindon, in 6 of the next 7 games. In the reverse fixtures earlier in the season, we achieved nothing..no points!!!...nil points....zip...zero...zilch.
In recent seasons, we have a good home record v Millwall and I am hoping that this continues tomorrow.

Probably the same home drivel so far this season.

Players and fans are totally f***ed off with it.

Brighton 3-0 Millwall.
We tend to do well against them. Anyone remember the Cox chip against them a couple of years ago? And David Martot's clincher toward the end? Classic. And of course, the marvellous (if a little damp!) 4-1 against them last season with Glenn Murray playing magically! :clap2:

Please God, No!
Can't we just have one home game where we start at the right tempo, dominate throughout and run out worthy winners?
It's not much to ask is it ?

Two teams who have scored a fair few recently, us busting a gut to get our new striker ready for tomorow, 0-0 written all over it.

What drivel. We have taken 11 points from our last 5 League games so this is not "must win". And we didn't get zilch from the reverse fixture it was 1-1.
Why is everything such a drama for some people. Stick with the team, get behind them at Withdean and the home form MAY improve.

Sorry to be pedantic but we have taken 8 points from the last 5 league games.
Also, the zilch points refers to the run of games v Huddrsfield, Norwch, Leeds,Charlton, Colchester and Swindon.
There is no drama behind my statements, just a desire to start winning at home. If we don't win tomorrow, we could end up in the bottom 4 again and I, for one, want to avoid that at all costs.
A home record of 8 points from 36 needs immediate improvement.
