don't get me wrong gay people can be nice people but I don't see why they have to put on the voices and just act overly camp.

Agreed but didn't think those blokes were overly camp atall...

why do they make the people move the money, seems amateurish, seeing people try to move all those stacks take like 30 seconds alone. just let them say how much they want and do it.

Probably because it adds to the sense of panic and unsettles the contestants.

Makes good TV seeing the bundles of notes sliding down that chute too.

Gives the contestants less time to focus on the question - makes the decision making more tangible, so more likely to divide it (and hence reduce the eventual winnings) - I like to think it's also the producers way of highlighting the naked avarice that is shown by the contestants by making them handle the money all the time.

Have watched it all week and also find it strangely compelling viewing. To lose over £500k on a 50/50 question must make you physically sick.

Regarding the money itself, as suggested it's there to make it more frantic for the players an viewers rather than just see them standing there thinking. The effect when it drops is pretty good too. I'm glad they speeded up the answer stage by getting rid of 2 or 3 answers at the same time whereas the first show they did it all one by one I believe. I still only watch it on Sky+ record though as I hate adverts and the crap filling Davina McCall has to do

How many days is it on?

The most random thing happened today. Me and a colleague were talking bout last nights show and how the couple lost 500k and 10 mins later he rings one of our clients only to be told she's not in cos she's still in London as was on a gameshow last night. And yes you've guessed it it was the woman in the red who lost the money - so so random - she wasn't even a prospective client she already WAS a client which made it stranger too...

finishes Sunday - Apparently they only have £1mil in total to give away if won through the wk - that may explain why the last question was so bloody hard last night - cos £525000 is a lot to part with if they're only giving a mil away all wk...
