Are the FA genuinely avoiding giving him our games? Is that something the FA do, other than when the ref has declared a club loyalty?
I believe the Albion did once make such a request about Prosser the Tosser after the Sheffield United debacle at Withdean. Are the FA genuinely avoiding giving him our games? Is that something the FA do, other than when the ref has declared a club loyalty?
It would be no surprise if he refs albion v palace at the Amex.
Does it really matter?
We've 'won' anyway and TBH he probably did the club (but not Tony's bank balance) a favour, judging by how we gained promotion and taken that effort into this league,
This is correct. Swap Boro's season last year with ours, and subsequently both teams start to this season, and who comes out on top? I will happily abuse the ****, but I'm not sad about how history panned out.
Best not get too excited. At the ten game mark Boro had 10 points and actually looked quite healthy going into Xmas. Once the new year kicked in they totally fell apart. Lets not count chickens just yet!
What season was that!?
Last season after 10 games played they were P10 W1 D4 L5 PTS 7 their solitary win against Sunderland. Looked far from healthy losing 3 of their 4 home games. By Xmas they'd won just 4 games granted they only won 1 more after that,

The only teams they beat all season were Sunderland, Bournemouth, Hull and Swansea. They also lost to Palace, twice. What season was that!?

Incorrect. They beat Bournemouth in game 10 and then drew with Man City having already got a point off Arsenal leaving them on 11 points from 11 games. Not too different to our current position. If they had mirrored their first half of the season in the second they would have stayed up.
