Miguel Llera to Brighton - According to Vital Football

Another Addick who could be on his way to the South Coast is Miguel Llera, who may sign a deal with Brighton. Gus Poyet has a reputation for getting the best out of players and a move to Falmer would appeal to the Spaniard.

I'm sure it's not hugely relevant, but LLERA is (on facebook at least) freinds with Calderon.

Llera has what we need. I watched him a couple of times for the mcdons a few years ago, he's quick, has good lift and is comfortable with ball at feet. could be a really good signing.

We are running dangerously low on Spanish speakers with Baz, Batti, and Sandaza leaving.

He's 31 so I'd imagine not a long contract. Would bring an experienced head, could do a job as cover for Greer?

Don't see any problem with taking a punt on the lad. We clearly need a cb in the short term at least so he seems to tick all the boxes.

I know he is out of contract but did he play at all last season. (I wonder if Fat Addick would be able to tell us?)

Certainly if you go back three and four years ago he was a very useful performer and he would potentially be able to fill the gap we have in the centre of defence at the start of the season.

I wonder rather if he is coming to us for a trial rather than signing for us?

He's awful, He couldn't even get ahead of Doherty or Dailly, 30 games over the space of 2 footballing seasons isn't good, I think we need someone who's got Championship experience and has a bit of pace.

Didn't he score against us once?

Championship experienced central defender. Big and strong with an old head. I'd be happy enough with that.

He scored at the Withdean for MK Dons, think it was a Friday night and we lost 2.4, Jemal Johnson ran us ragged that night and Di Matteos' team were class back then, a little bit like us last season.

Sitch, where did you come from? I'm inclined to sit back and let the rumours unravel and make me question reliable sources but your information on CMS was outstanding. Thank you. Erm, are you a Brightonian and how are the new digs?
