Its the complete lack of creativity that comes from the midfield that is a real worry. 5 players or 4 it don't seem to make any difference nothing comes through.

When are the club gonna realise your best players in the whole team must be your CM's, and invest accordingly?

I agree 100% we still havent signed another Chippy which is the type of player we desperately need.

For christ sake people, get some perspective and reality! We're 3 games into the season! Calm down, and be patient. The goals will flow, it's obvious that Slade is trying to get us right defensively first, he's clearly trying to get the defensive model right. Once we've got that sorted out, we can start to really work on the attacking side of the game, which I'm sure they'll be doing this week.

It's disappointing we've not scored any goals yet, but you can't start getting annoyed after 3 games, you need to show some understanding of the game and realise that it doesn't just happen straight away. Slade is going to get it right, and when he does, all these boringly negative threads will disappear. We have a new team, let's give Slade the time to get them playing together shall we.

Indeed we did, but the team was changed so much during preseason that it hardly matters. Obviously, we would prefer to be banging in the goals. But do we not all see the difference this season? We have a manager who is trying to build a team, and that takes time. Rather than just select a team to win on the day and live in the moment, Slade is trying to build a team which is going to, ultimately, take us further than the team Micky Adams was trying to put together.

well put , thought the same thing - I mean overall it's not a bad side but that lack of spark is costing us and there must be a reason we aren't using Dicker? and even with him that is the position we need backup for.
