Nice to see Liddle getting a shot at 4-day cricket

Can't be much of a career - eight or nine four-over spells of T20 bowling every twelve months, with the odd 40-over game thrown in.

Middlesex all out for 234. That should be healthy three figure lead for them but they may have to bat again

Now this is real cricket. None of your two day Test matches and scoring at more than 4 an over. Here we have Michael Yardy grinding for every single run, as the Middlesex members snooze quietly under an August sun. Fantastic.

Poor Yardy ran out of grinders, would have been great for him to have got a 290 ball 100, 20/20 running the game on the youngsters

Middelsex blasting away at our 66 run lead at almost 3 an over

Sussex must be sick of the sight of Malan: is that three centuries in four innings now? (and the other innings was 92)

High up on the South Downs.
So glad that football is back and I love cricket. Sussex are spineless. Good luck to Ollie Robinson, Magoffin, Wright and a few others. The rest are not up to it and Robbo has run out of steam.
