No, Jordan is injured. He's had an operation on his arm - he should be back for the 20/20
Are you sure?

I hadn't seen that but I was right that he had had an operation on his arm, which is why he hasn't been available for the Sussex matches

Dizzy talked in interview about his injury and how hard he had worked to recover. Dizzy was hoping Sussex would get him for the 20 20 games, but said he was aware the England set up knew what an asset he was to them. I think England named him the next day in the squad. Loss for us but brilliant death bowler for England and Wales.
I heard that interview too.
It’s a confusing picture re Jordan to say the least.
At the end of the season - he's back for T20, apparently
Or not.
He's now told Sussex that he wants to join Surrey for the T20 too (it's still officially a loan, so he can't play against us)
That's an indictment of Gillespie - when a contracted Sussex player says he doesn't want to play for the club, there's something very wrong
First told Evans loaned for 1, 4 day game. Then told this is extended Then told will be signing for Surrey next season. Then unbelievably extend loan to play 20/20. He was our best batter last year. Sorry but Sussex cricket is becoming a joke.
Evans is beyond budget. Sussex is a small club in county cricket terms. If you haven’t worked that out by now you can’t be very old... [emoji3]
Where has it been said he wanted to join Surrey? It's a shame, we need all the batters we can get!

This is true but that's precisely why I think it's luxury to have so many players (Mills, Wright, Bopara, Beer and, seemingly Briggs) who only play L/O cricket. Small clubs can't afford that indulgence
