you are probably right, but it would be a good idea if everybody knew what they were doing as the players looked bemused and half the crowd were booing

S'actly. It was relevant to to them not to observe a period of silence just as it was for us.

Exactly. IMHO that was a far greater tribute to the man than observing the minute's silence. There was absolutely no disrespect meant by it. quite the opposite :clap:

This minute silence stuff gets a bit confusing, am i right in remembering that Ron Greenwood wasn't granted a minutes silence or has alzheimers already set in?.
