This morning Hamas said its political leader had been killed in “a treacherous Zionist raid".

Israel's military and senior figures within its government are yet to respond to the allegation.

Question, did Israeli hawks have him murdered to ensure no peace deal or did Hamas hawks do it for the same reason. Not sure what the evidence is, what is the intel saying? Guess if it was a guided missile most likely Israel.

Jvp are (in 1984 style) neither Jewish, nor a voice for peace.
But you know that

Wrong. Founded by Jews, Jewish chair and board. They just don't believe in Israeli Apartheid and genocide.

The news they reported is true regardless your opinion on the group. Israel is murdering journalists in large numbers and you try to refute it with a incorrect (lie) to distract from their barbarity.

The 'moderate' 'mediator'...

Who called him "moderate"? Obviously he wasnt a mediator either, a mediator is someone other than the parties involved.
He was however negotiating for an end to the fighting, and has now been removed, and whilst I appreciate you may shed no tears for him, do you think it's a good thing for ending hostilities? If so, how?

This ends the second Hamas return the hostages & surrender. They've stated they will create more Oct 7ths forever multiple times, will never accept any Jewish state & reject every serious ceasefire offer. Every (billionaire) leader taken out hastens that end. This will only end the way war with Hitler did.

If thats true, you must think Israeli negotiators were being dishonest in negotiation, by simply entering negotiations with someone they never had any intention of compromising with.

For the war to end the way the war with Hitler did, multiple nations would need to come together to push back an army intent on expanding its nations borders, occupying lands taken by force, and commiting genocide. For a peace to last, it will need the people of that nation to accept that their country was acting in a way that is unacceptable.
I don't think it will end that way, and it won't truly end in our lifetimes if neither side can talk to each other without fear.
Israel may win this war, but it won't win any peace like this.
Do you consider the thousands of Palestinians in administrative detention, that are detained indefinitely without charge, hostages?
