the Israelis havent found a secret base at the hospital have they? all i've seen over the weekend is reports of some guns and a list of combants that turn out to be a calandar.
this morning i hear about hostage swap, with dispute over how many hostages there are. this seem remarkable not only because everyone should know excatly how many there are, but why on earth does Israel have any hostages?

Even before October 2023, Israel was holding over 1200 Palestinians without trial or charge. Some for years.

Yes they have including tunnels not a surprise as Amnesty International (no lover of Israel) as far back as 2014 said the hospital was a Hama's control centre and was used to torture captives.

That's a one off children in Gaza schools are taught daily by Hama's to hate the Jews.
It's likely that there is indoctrination in both Palestinian and Israeli schools.

Saying that, you probably wouldn't need to indoctrinate Palestinian children that much. Being occupied, imprisoned and having your friends and family killed will influence you enough.

The clip I shared is an Israeli State broadcaster.....

I saw they'd found a tunnel (not surprising as there are said to be tunnels everywhere) but has anything more significant been identified?

A control centre will be a relatively sophisticated structure compared to a tunnel. There's a huge amount riding on what is actually verified as being within or beneath the hospital perimeter. Either Israel or Hamas will be left with a huge amount of egg on their face

There’s also quite the difference between finding “a tunnel” and finding “the end of a tunnel”

Not as chilling though as the video of the Hamas terrorists playing football with decapitated children's heads

As you have already been asked, your reputable source for this ?

Or maybe those were so quick to back this post with a thumbsup @cjd, @BHANSC, @LamieRobertson, @aolstudios had already seen a reputable source for this and that was the reason for their support ?

from the build up and CGI presentations, i'm expecting something similar to HalfLife down there. so far we've seen a 2 min of shaky cam footage that would embarass Ghost Hunters.

It doesn't matter if there's Hamas control centres under the hospitals. There obviously is. The point is you can't bomb hospitals and ambulances, nor can you give out collective punishment. Those are war crimes. If Israel knew that Hamas had strategic sites under hospitals they should have worked out what to do with all the patients and staff in them. Then, and only then they'd have an argument for laying siege on those buildings. The reality is they see all Palestinians as collateral in their pursuit of the elimination of Hamas (and that's being kind and not including their pursuit of the annihilation of Gaza). Merely saying 'evacuate the hospitals' is utter nonsense when you have people on life support machines and babies in ICUs. They knew this.
There are reports of heavy fighting around the Indonesian hospital in the north of the Gaza Strip. Marwan Abdallah, a medical worker there, said Israeli tanks were visible from the windows. “You can see them moving around and firing,” he told AP. “Women and children are terrified. There are constant sounds of explosions and gunfire”. Health ministry officials in Gaza say 12 people have been killed, including doctors and patients. The claims have not been independently verified.
It's fairly obvious what Israel's aim is. It's to utterly destroy all of the infrastructure in Gaza, killing as many civilians on the way, so that Gaza becomes a place that is simply impossible to ever return to.
It doesn't matter about your political persuasion and it's not about taking sides. Their tactics and actions speak for itself.

This war will end once Gaza is annihilated. So ask yourself if it will be worth it- already 13k people killed and likely an entire population displaced.

No, it doesn't. They've destroyed 20 hospitals. So it doesn't matter. This is all smoke and mirrors because it's become the hospital the media are focussing on. The reality is they've chosen to blanket bomb Gaza to the extent most of their hospitals are either totally destroyed or unusable.
