Middle class, working class. How do YOU define the two?

Someone once told me the difference between working and middle class was if you had more than three types of pasta in your food cupboard when you were growing up then you had a middle class upbringing even if your mum and dad earn't f*** all. This was in the 80's btw. By this reckoning Kate Winslet would definitely be middle class, despite her parents earning very little when she was growing up.

What if you were working-class an Italian?

Does one having chicken tikka lasagna, spaghetti hoops and alphabetti spaghetti make you middle-class?

I'd say you're working-class if you have a massive chip on your shoulder and irrational hatred of the middle class and vice-versa

Being half Italian, it's a totally different ball game over there. The one thing that unites Italy right across the classes is food, rich or poor everyone eats really well. Funny when you see Italian builders on a lunch break tucking into amazing pasta and high quality salamis etc Food that the middle classes over here have claimed as their own.

Working class hate and want to kill the middle class.

Middle classes want to import poor immigrants en mass to fight and kill the working class.

Working class hates Immigrants.

Immigrants are to dumb to see when they are being used.

You're working-class if you have a massive chip on your shoulder.

You're middle-class if you have a rather large French fry.
