Michael Robinson - 1983 Grandstand interview and classic goals

Thanks to dougdeep, I got hold of this interview shown on the BBC on FA Cup Final day:

Interesting to note, Michael Robinson doesn't actually like football!

Within the interview are some great goals that I haven't seen before including the winner against Aston Villa (1-0) in 1980/81:

I do wonder how it is that that team struggled in 1982/83. Even allowing for my rose-tinted perspective as an Albion fan, it is clear that Gatting, Stevens and foster were above average defenders in the top flight. How that defence leaked goals away from home that season seems a real puzzle. It's not like the midfield was rudderless either with case and grealish great leaders. And we had Robinson and sometimes Ward up front too!

Best striker we ever had, Bobby was good but Robinson done
it in top flight.
Was my Favourite player, and when I was at school always tried to base my game on his bustling style.
Anyone notice the Rolls Royce Corniche sitting in the driveway, there was plenty of money about at the Goldstone in those days.
Interesting that he said he no interest in Footie but now he's one
of the biggest plaudits on Spanish TV and must live and breath the
game.
