The interesting thing is, I've heard from a source within the club that if you were to watch all the goalkeepers in training you'd think Poke was the first choice keeper.

I cannot see Poke, Brezovan or Walker staying. We have a Canadian been on trial , cant remember his name something like Tyson ???? who I think will be no 3 and we will bring another keeper as good as Casper to offer competition for the No 1 jersey.

Does anyone seriously think brezovan is up to championship standard?

i can't really base this opinion on anything other than gut instinct, but i'd be slightly nervous having casper as our number 1 in the championship

like i said, just a gut instinct

Great Keeper, we were linked with before he went to Sheff United for championship football. Was Stokes keeper when they were promoted to Premier League.

I reckon when Sheff United are down, we may be able to grab him, could do a p/x + cash with brez?

I must agree. Although I base my opinion on the fact he does not/cannot control his penalty area, infact he does not even control the six yard box. I thought he could have claimed the ball for the second scc goal yesterday. How can an opposition player have a header in the six yard box without the keeper even going for it? It's not the first time either. Don't get me wrong, awesome shot stopper etc. But to me, I hope he is a gonner this summer.

I have heard Crawley have a good keeper- Liable to get himself sent off for some mindless acts of violence though, either that or pointlesssly handling outside his box.

Could do a job(at conference level)

What a load of bollocks - you spend too long listening to those muppets on the TV. The long ball over to Forte was not a ball that Casper should have been going for and Forte got lucky with theheader looping into the far post.

As for next season, I don't think he'll go as his distribution is key to Gus' system but I wouldn't be surprised to see someone else with similar skills but proven at the higher level to take the number one spot with Casper as backup.
