There's a great one in Leicester Square. Can't remember the name, but its maHOOsive, its on two floors with a bar downstairs. Had a fabularse tex mex mix in there once.

Nice work guys! I like the sound of the maHOOsive one in Leicester Sq, really I would like it to be strictly a Mexican eatery.

Barnet, what was up with the Cafe Sol?

If it likes the one in Clapham, they've turned their business towards being a late night drinks place and the food is rubbish

Falmer, soon...
It's just pretty shoddy quality compared to other mexicans around.

Obviously I'd advise against Leicester Square for all the usual reasons.

I know theres a couple of mexican places in Islington and one down Shoreditch way which are always rammed too, but I've never felt compelled to interrupt my drinking with a cheeky burrito

Shoreditch one is the Green & Red Bar & Cantina

Islington: Mucho Mas and Tortilla where the places I was thinking about. There's also Desperados - which I can't remember.

there used to be a very good one off Charing Cross Road, on the left side, a dead end street. Great food and associated party.

Generally, I don't feel that mexican is a good food night out, just an alternate to eating hot food, lots of beer, tequila and stuning waitresses aiming to get you drunk and poor

bit like your average steriotype of an Mexican bloke?

Cheers Hiney, just read up on that one. Looks pretty nice but an expensive one maybe? Does anyone know the Arizona Bar & Grill in Camden? That could work well as I was thinkin of takin the Mrs to Camden after my Tutankhamun exhibition that we are goin to see first!
