I'm not against swearing, i swear as much as anyone, but not in front of my daughter.
All i was asking was , why is c##t now allowed, as by allowing it is as good as encouraging it's use.
All i was asking was that it be kept off the front page......is it really TOO much to ask?

Apparently, to me its just a good way of showing a limited vocabulary along with other limitations. I used to swear a lot until time in Red Neck land where the words 'Motherfucker' and 'Shit' are universally applied and only the inflection indicates whether the usage is good, bad or indifferent. Mind you trying to explain the concept of the word 'Wanker' to the avereage American is a tall order !

Nowadays I swear rarely and I am surprised to say that its actually noticed and in a good way too.

Why are you allowing bad language in thread titles, ie C##t, etc.
My 7 year old daughter occasionally looks over my shoulder while i'm on here and i dont want to be having to explain to her what a c##t is.

my point is, if a child asks a question parents, please don't lie and be honest, it can land them in to social difficulty.

Damn. My kids are so screwed up. I've told them about Father Christmas, The Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairy, The Bedtime Bunny, The Birthday Fairy and all sorts of wonderful other fibs I can tell them because I'm an adult.

I'll start saving for their therapy now.

The answer is obvious then, be a responsible parent all the time not just when it suits you and don't read or browse here when your daughter is around, and change your homepage to something a little more family friendly.
