I am toying with the idea of going with the other half to see Mamma Mia. She has seen it twice already and LOVES it. She is a huge Abba fan and lets be fair Abba were the greatest " pop " act of all time. They made some superb sings, a very good body of work.

Will I be greeted by hordes of 20 and 30 something Women, 40 or 50 somethings reliving their youth and posses of Gay men on an outing ? or will there will some " normal " Heterosexual men as well ?

The film is the most successful film of the year in the UK knocking all the summer blockbusters into a cocked hat taking around £ 50 000 000 so far.

Certainly it has more appeal than the abhorent Sex and the City because of the craft of the Abba songs and Streep is a great actress and I like Brosnan although he murders the song he did by all accounts.

Chaps would you put your doubts to one side and go and watch Mamma Mia and embrace the genius of Abba or point blank refuse.

NSC will decide my fate.

Over to you.

I don't think 'brownie points' would be enough. It would have to be a guaranteed first shag. And even then...

I can't find it, so I'll just suggest here. If you're going with your good lady, I'd recommend Wall:E. The usual Pixar comparisons have said its better than Toy Story - its not - but its still very entertaining and beautifully animated, as you'd expect.

If you're not with the missus, then see Batman. Its BRILLO.

I'm offering 2/1 that US will like Mamma Mia best of the three.

I work on the international tour of the live show and I can guarantee that chances are you will enjoy it. The story's shit a but Benny and Bjorn wrote some of the catchiest pop songs ever.
Personally I f***ing hate it but every where we go it goes down a storm so go along and try and stop your toes from tapping.
