He said he didnt want to go anywhere permanently, so the deal makes sense. Painter hasnt played a full season in a long time, so if he gets tired in 6 months time, we have a great replacement who would have been playing at the level above

Good deal for us, if he impresses his value increases. If he doesn't then we know he isn't going to cut it in the Championship for when we eventually arrive!

I think it was he didn't want any of HIS players going out on loan which is slightly different.

Kishishev can probably play there. And that young kiddy, Smith, although I'd obviously rather have Mcnulty than him
