With rumours about that we are after Leon McKenzie I think we should also go for Luke Rogers. I cannot believe no one has snapped him up yet and I am sure he does not want to play Conference football.

Sign both these 2 up and we can have the new "Small & Byrne".

It's Rodgers :p :p :p

Agree though. Them two and Rougier. Rougier would be a great signing because he can do midfield and up front.

It would be lovely if DK could afford strikers like that... Not holding my breath though unfortunately.

Weren't Peterborough after a hefty fee for McKenzie? I'm sure he'd probably want to step up a division too, so I'm not sure he'd want to come to us.

Luke Rodgers would be good though, he certainly has a good reputation.

One of the papers today had a quote from Barry fry saying something like "I heard Coppell is going to make a £500,000 offer for McKenzie. If that's what is on offer then he should'nt bother picking up the phone."

Ignore that completely David, Barry Fry is just trying to get some interest in his player, the fact that Brighton have come into a bit of money means that he has used us to try and up the ante, it could have been any other team if they had sold a player on and had an obvious gap in their squad.

We should go for Luke Rodgers... this guy knows where the back of the net is... surely, Shrewsbury are going to struggle to hold on to him in the conference...

What about Luke Beckett?...

How about Sam Parkin?...

Leon McKenzie is too injury prone, surely...

McKenzie has scored 3 goals in the last two seasons. In his best season for Posh he got 12. Barry Fry is as always talking out of his posterior

el presidente, hate to correct you but...

he scored 18 in the league in 2001-2 plus 2 in cups so 20 overall and 5 last year in 9 games

Neon Leon is excellent at this level, but he did f*** all at Palarse in Div 1 and his injury record is a shocker.

Top marks to whoever spotted that Fat Bastard Fry is upping the ante, the twat.

Leon is out of contract next summer, he has refused to sign an extension and can therefore leave on a Bosman if Fry doesn't sell him.

We've allegedly turned down £500k from Wigan, but it's all probably bollocks.
