Mcghee may have got us up and kept us up but I'm starting to wonder how much of this was due to the set up and players he inherited.
As time has slowly moved on, and the team has become McGhee's team things have got progressively worse. The results have deteriorated (the results over the past 12 months are diabolical), team spirit has been eroded, perfomances are at best patchy, most players seem to play out of position and we have little shape and no pattern to our play.
His man-management is non-existent and he seems to argue or alienate a lot of players.
Further, we have an abundance of crap strikers (one we paid £150k for and whome cannot even get in the squad...also the boss has alluded to Federico not being the player McGhee thought he was ...baffling and worrying) and always seem to be carrying one-to-many goalkeepers and as a direct consequence we have little money to buy players for other positions.
Where do we go from here? I'm not calling for McGhee's head, but I have serious concerns about the direction the team is going at the moment.
