Feltchester Police have confirmed that they were called to an incident on Monday night at the home of popular tv magician and scooter rider Phil Daniels (74) after Daniels's 14 year old child bride and former Blue Peter presenter Debbie McGhee was involved in an altercation with local carpenter and odd job man Richard Carpetlayer(87).
Carpetlayer had been employed at the couples luxury bungelow building stage sets for Daniels's famous magic routines and illusions including the famous 'turning a ploughed up old field into an area of outstanding natural beauty' trick.
Alledgedly Daniels (73) had cut his finger on a piece of rough timber used by Carpetlayer and had bled alot on his trousers causing McGhee to confront Carpetlayer when he came round to pick up his tools.
No charges have been bought and a police spokesman said today 'We are fed up with these so called celebrities throwing their weight around and expecting us honest bobbies to pick up the pieces'
Meanwhile in a seperate incident Brighton and Hove Albion have yet to anounce the future of a number of players who's contracts will be up eight weeks before the middle of July.
