Not wanting to sound like a 'Well, I told you so merchant', but all those of you who said that Marck McCammon was crap, the worst player you've seen in the stripes, etc, etc. Trust Marck McGhee, he knows more than we do.

Well, the boy did good today. Yes, he ain't Michael Owen, but he brings something extra to the team that we need.

With him playing, we're able to keep Virgs at the back where he is MUCH more effective, but still have a target man. I thought he won a lot in the air today, and him and Knight seem to be gradually linking up better.

Derby are a very good team, and we gave them a good game. I'm disappointed to lose, but I'm not downbeat; in fact, if anything, I'm quite uplifted after todays game. Even before they went down to 10 men, we were in the game. OK, we weren't on top and dominating (no smutty comments please), but we looked like we could always get something from the game.

After the unbeaten run, to lose to Derby in a close game is not the end of the world. We should be going to Cardiff next week with confidnce levels high and be looking for 3 points.

Thanks Mark McGhee, and I'm looking forward to seeing McCammon when he does get back to being match fit. If he's say 70-80% fit at the moment, he could turn out to be ANOTHER good signing by McGhee.

Oh, I lied, I did tell you so.

The one who tells his customers to f*** off. You know the one who after the Spurs game was spouting that he's better than Defoe.... Flea'nshite.

I gather you have not seen his performances of late as he has been working his socks off.

Would 5 out of the last 6 games be enough, including today. He must be wearing very poor quality socks.

Must be watching a different game to me.

LK is a sheer delight to watch; you can see the defenders stqand off him because he's so tricky.

As for not working hard, there were times today when he came right back into our half to make tackles.

Leave the guy alone. I really don't know how much more effort some people expect him to put in.

Interesting that McCammon scores and we don't win yet when he just plays we hadn't lost up until now.

It was a shame he didn't get his hattrick :)
His third chance was the easiest of the three as well

Yeah when he'd given the ball away.

You obviously don't believe in defending from the front. Fair enough. I am of the opinion it's a team game. We will just have to agree to disagree.

That's right. It's a team game. I do believe in defending from the front.

However, I think Butter, Hinshelwood & Virgo are absolutely shit. I've yet to see them break from defence, carry the ball to the edge of the area and deliver a pin-point cross for Knight to score with. It's about time we were looking for the attack minded defenders, not just ones that can score from set-pieces.

Your attempt at sarcasm is ironic when you consider the number of goals Virgs and Butters have scored in comparison to Flea 'n shite.

Unbelievable. Some people moan when we win, others moan when we lose to good sides, others moan just for the sake of it.

Derby were the best team I've seen at the Withdean this season, look at the way they closed the game down, after they'd score the winning goal with 10 men. They were very focussed and obviously wanted all 3 points.

I thought we did all right, especially Gammon. Why don't people look for the positives: it's the first time in 8 games we've failed to pick up points: the other results went for us: all our 'horrible' teams had bad days.

Come on you seagulls, let's have Falmer now!
