Saw him outside decorators merchants in brighton, warned him not to scratch my van as he parked his merc.
Asked him if he had anything lined up workwise, he said only painting at home.

Can't see swansea wanting him surely they would be looking for a good championship manager not an average Div 1 manager.

All they want is someone to get them up out of this league, they can do what they like after that, can't they?

McGhee has got three teams (us, Millwall & Reading) promoted from this division, therefore I'd imagine Swansea will be considering him very seriously indeed, whatever our view of his long term abilities.

Maybe they may offer a contract to the end of the season then.

And then get a proper manager for the championship.

Why not? He wouldn't be that expensive I'd have thought, worth a contract until the end of the year with his track record at this level.

Swansea aren't going to look at the last few months of his regime here- and if they did I'm sure he'll just point out the conditions he had to work under as mitigation- all they'll see is the three promotions and think he might just turn out to be their lucky charm.

Be a good move for both of them, like to see it happen and for MM to take them up, after all we have no chance and it would be a nice repost to those who continually slagged him off here.

Will do a good job for them.

His time was up here.

Be interesting to see if he goes after any Brighton players.

How would i know?I'm pissed.
With a proper budget MM would have done better here, and would probably still be here.Lack of investment in the squad was his undoing and he can't be blamed for that.
That said, he was a broken man when he left and had run out of ideas.
Swansea would be a good move for him.
