Richie Morris said:Knight actually puts in more work then people give him credit for. He is just an easy target.
He might not run about like a headless chicken in the same way Vrigo did and Hart and Robinson tend to but often that is just him being sensible.
His game is all about speed over the first five yaurds so no point him being knackered when the ball eventually gets to him.
McCammon did ok and I could understand him being tired toward the end but he was not putting much work in even when he first came on and on more then one occasion Kazim-Richards ran past him to put a defender under pressure.
Obviously he is lacking match fitness but I was only raising the question because I remember when we signed him last season he seemed to have the same problem.
I thought there was a definite difference between Knight's efforts yesterday and his normal laid back, energy-conserving approach. I could be wrong, but I didn't think his heart was in it.
Regards Big Mac, I think CKR running past him has more to do with basic speed than effort being put in. I've seen Milk turn quicker than McCammon.
