Yeh, but he went to the corner flag first in the 55 minute.

You watch your team to attack, win and entertain us with football. Not run to the corner flag and give themself anal with it.

You watch your team to win. And when they do, YOU moan

I'm never going to say this again but i agree with you. however i never said i approved of this, i simply stated there was a certain charm about Big Mac doing it in the 58th minute.

he'd moan if he had sex.

"you have sex to get something out of it, and she seemed like she was having a much better time"

He can definitely do a job and he is very hard to defend against.

Imagine if he had clattered Shittu after 10 minutes could have put a whole new complexion on the game yesterday.

However he was absolutely useless at Burnley away last season but then forwards nearly always are hit or miss these days.

As Big Mac wasn't even on the picth until the 61st minute, care to explain how he did that you :dunce: ?

I've always championed Big Mac as a useful member of our squad, but I'm delighted to hear he can now have a major influence on games while still waiting on the subs bench :D

It is pathetic that Big Mac comes on and helps take the sting out of any QPR revival with good hold-up play, yet all he gets is criticism from stupid little boys like 1066 and his ilk.

Except of course he didn't, it was much later and he did the first time because he had no support players

He could become a cult hero of Crawley but not a football league side.

The only things he did right in the QPR game was carried the ball to the corner flags in the closing minutes and made it difficult for their players to get at it other than that he did absolutely nothing and offered us nothing.

Apart from winning loads of headers and flick-ons, almost scoring but for a brilliant save by the goalie, yeah, almost nothing :)

You are amazing and so blinded in your viewthat he can do nothing wrong

almost scoring

I almost won the lottery but didnt get enough numbers so finished up with the same NOTHING.

This is great if they go to our players and not the opposing players but how many did?

I seem to remember having the same discussion with you after the game at Reading last season about Cullip and his heading and where is here now in Div 1 which is where McCammon could possibly get an odd game.

In your mind if the player wins a header that is then end of the story it doesnt matter where the ball finishes up or to whom it goes.

McCammon could do a job coming on for ten minutes or so at the ends of games until we get someone better.

Cannot see him becoming a cult hero but fair play if he keeps putting his all in.

The one question I would raise is how fit he has been keeping himself while out injured because he did not do much running and closing down of defenders when he came on, less so then Knight, and looked knackered after about five minutes.

I don't expect he is fully match fit yet. Anyone know when the reserves play next, so he can have a runout then

He did as much as Knight but neither player has the same movement as Jake or Harty or a Virgo. We know why in Big Mac's case, he is a big lad and it's hard to lug himself about that swiftly. Would love to know what the theory about Knight is though.

I think it's you that is blinded. I quote: "he did absolutely nothing and offered us nothing." How can you possibly justify that as an opinion. I don't think that McCammon can "do no wrong", but to say he offered nothing is preposterous. He nearly scored. He won everything in the air. He kept possession and even showed a few good touches. He made a nuisance of himself and reminded QPR's largest and most physical player that he couldn't get things all his own way. AND THEN WE WON.

In contrast, I'm a big Leon Knight fan. But what did he do for 60 minutes?

I agree in part, but although McCammon is an oil tanker of the player, I still think he looked a bit immobile. I think he could lose a few pounds and still be able to knock Shittu over. :D

I personally wasn't happy with Knight's contribrution yesterday. I didn't think he looked too fussed about it all.

Knight actually puts in more work then people give him credit for. He is just an easy target.

He might not run about like a headless chicken in the same way Vrigo did and Hart and Robinson tend to but often that is just him being sensible.

His game is all about speed over the first five yaurds so no point him being knackered when the ball eventually gets to him.

McCammon did ok and I could understand him being tired toward the end but he was not putting much work in even when he first came on and on more then one occasion Kazim-Richards ran past him to put a defender under pressure.

Obviously he is lacking match fitness but I was only raising the question because I remember when we signed him last season he seemed to have the same problem.
