The Morocco international bit is what worries me.

I watched Bromley a lot as a lot and the 'keeper Chuck Martini was an Morocco international - he was also crap

Southampton have already summed up the Moroccan market by signing Boufal..... dearie me.

Have not read all the replies to this thread BUT seriously we need to be looking at reducing the average age of the squad which this current season has defied all sense !

Well let's just take a look at a typical team this season:
Stockdale: 31
Bruno: 36
Bong: 29
Dunk; 25
Duffy;24
Stephens; 27 or Sidwell 34
Kayal; 29 or Norwood; 26
Skalak; 25 or March; 22
Baldock; 28 or Murphy; 27
Hemed; 29 or Murray; 34
Knockaert; 25

I've left out a balance of older and younger players, but most are early 20's or in their prime. Stocko at 31 is the ideal age for a keeper. Only Bruno, Murray and Sidwell really fit the argument of being older current regulars and surely it will then come down to their mix of experience, fitness and ability. I feel sure Chris Hughton will be well aware of everything we could possibly think of in terms of recruitment, and age of three of the seniors will undoubtedly be factors. But it's only three of them and with new players coming and others going, I think we'll be fine on the age front.

This suggested that we have the oldest squad in the Championship at 28.6 years so sorry for having posted what might be b-----s !!
