All regularly slagged off by NSC's most knowledgable pundits for being, frankly, no longer up to it.

Including FDM, that means half of yesterday's White Hart Lane team were ex-Third Division journeymen.

Can the experts explain how those plodders had the brass neck to even show up??

Carpenters best game of the season..and Hart got MOM in the Observer...and Oatway (I'm not a fan) seems to be improving game by game

Chippy was awesome yesterday.

Really played well, top man :clap2:

It should raise the confidence of the team a lot, to have taken the game to Spurs so convincingly.
If this game is carried through into the league as well, we should have no problem stayuing up - and threatening to beat the top teams.

THE MIGHTY BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION!

Our midfield - Reid, Charlie, Chippy, Kerry and Harding - outpassed the Premiership cloggers in the second half.

We can but hope, but LET'S HOPE we will see less NSC threads running down our players in 2005 than the many we saw in 2004.

I'm convinced we don't realise how good we are, if we just had that little bit more predatory instinct near goal, we could move very quickly from being relegation scrappers to being a team that sits in comfortable mid-table until Falmer arrives.

That is the beauty of Mark McGhee. He has got these players believing in themselves and brought out the best in them.

Coppel had his own sports psychologist (remember the bald guy?)

Very proud of all of them and have never slagged ANY of them off (except when Hart and Mayo put on a fair bit of weight).

Thought they were amazing on Saturday.

I think that it is one of the first games i have seen for a while where everyone played well. Mr Harding made me eat plenty of humble pie on Saturday and it was delicious. Lets just hope we build on this performance..or we get to play fancy dans each week who don't know how to close down.

Not blowing my own trumpet, but I said a while ago that OGH should get a run-out, but was flamed, people saying he was not up to it and would be off to Orient b4 we knew it. But he's had a few fine performances and saturday's was outstanding. Well done Harty
