One of my customers might have a spare ticket for Thursday. Depends if the person who's meant to be going gets called into work, but looks good at the moment.

Early start, but who cares.

Going to go and see us stuff it up the Aussies. :flameboun :flameboun

Update of my day out.

Left home at 6:15. Made good time til I left the M1 (J24). Took bloody ages on the A453.

Got home at 9:45 - tired but good day.

Arrived at my seat at end of second over.

Looked in full control in the morning session. No real threat from the Aussies at all. Lee was expensive, and Kasprowic seemed to be bowling well (couldn't see what the line was like due to being side-on).

Tait was quick, but didn't appear to be causing too much trouble.

Felt sorry for Strauss as he appeared in good nick, but hrese things happen.

Vaughan for some reason seems to lose concentration against second-rate bowlers, and Ponting appeared to be just trying to stop the runs being scored, rather than trying to get a wicket. Looked a very soft wicket to lose.

Pieterson looked like he was trying to build a good innings.

Shame about the afternoon session being lost, because I really felt that if we hadn't had all of the interuptions we would have posted a big score.

Lets hope today they can build on the reasonable start from yesterday.

The rain really messed us about yesterday. It helped Tait a lot in terms of swing but his ball to get Banger out was excellently bowled so fair play. Vaughan should have left Ponting alone, he wasn't getting anywhere near the stumps. Pieterson looked assured and hopefully Freddy can get in this morning. Feel a bit sorry for Bell, the ball to get him wa a beauty.

Actually Tait is quite dangerous but I feel if there is nothing in the air today he could prove expensive with Piterson and Flintoff in.

Oooh they've started, four from the first ball.

233/4

60.1 Lee to Pietersen, FOUR, overpitched and well down the leg side, flicked away with contempt to the fine-leg boundary.
