With all the praise going towards Vicente of late (and rightly so) Mattocks loan spell has gone slightly over looked in my opinion.

the last 3 games he has been class, solid and relaible and against Derby he looked a real attacking threat, gets forward when he needs to and is rarley out of place.

Could improve on his crossing a little but everything else seems very neat and tidy.

I hope we sign him.

Agreed.

He's consistently steady without being flashy in his style of play. Out of all the loan signings, Mattock is the most successful imo. I also hope we sign him.

He has gotten better and better, quality in recent weeks and agree player I would most like us to sign in terms of loanees.

I thought he started off a bit shakey at first, although that clearly looks like it was a fitness thing. Would be a great signing!

I like him. Looks very accomplished at this level. Deceptively quick as well, when he bursts forward. Think he started off as a winger for Leicester, and you can tell as he seems to know exactly when and how to attack the space ahead of him. Defensively solid as well. Would love for us to pick him up in the summer.

Clearly intelligent enough to play Gus' style, as well.

The unsung on-loan hero for me aswell. Very consistent, rarely gives us any cause for concern at the back and has proved increasingly influential going forward. Of all the loanees he is the one I would buy first.

He certainly is "deceptively quick". Or as it's otherwise known, "slow". As a Leicester mate of mine said when we signed him. "Slow, but real quality". Missed the Boro game unfortunately but he's honestly looked good for me in all the games I've seen him play.

Don't think he has been overlooked at all and I agree he has been excellent and I hope we sign him up on a permanent.

Cracking signing although I think Aspinall thinks his name is Matt Tock based on his pronounciation. Its no Lua Lua Lua admittedly or Al-Hab but it adds some divertisty to the commentary of errors on the Beeb.

I disagree.

He hasn't been overlooked, there was a poll that showed he'd be our first choice of loan player to sign (Razak not in the poll).
