Tony says on official podcast that Matt’s operation is done, it was successful, and looking forward to seeing him back in the latter part of the year.
Great news. Often I open these player threads when they're injured with trepidation that they've got worse. Here it looks better than I feared.

Three months is pretty good news, 8 weeks even better. Hopefully quick recovery as his injury record is very good

That might be happening quietly in the background...

TB may know the owner of Broadfield Stadium.

Or he may know who the creditors are to Crawley Town FC.

Oo that's cold. Do to Crawley what Simon Jordan says was done to him.

Oh no. Cold would be to spend time putting the club on a slow burn. Agitating. Periodically increasing your stake. 'Negotiating' to buy it.

And then pulling out at the very last moment.

I'll raise you "doing a Bill Archer and Greg Stanley".

Buy the club, sell the assets, stick a toy shop on the ground.

Then a Nando's. A Burger King, a DFS, a TK MAX and a LIDL. Have I got them all?

It's strange isn't it?

Our history is actually worse than any fictional scenario you and I can make up about a club we currently despise due to a horror tackle.

I'll be honest - I don't think we're cut out to be billionaires. We gave it a good go, but in the end, we just weren't bastardly enough.

Tbh, I don't think TB is either.

Pets at home or something too. Don't know what else has been there.

They certainly were a special bunch of *****.

It seems you can make it by either being smart, or a ****. He's the former, they're the latter.

Tony did actually call it a ‘horror tackle’ or something like that - so clearly wasn’t happy!
Yep, noted that. Thought it was very unusual of Bloom to use language like that. Definitely not happy.

Yep. Did he say anything about how long Matt would be or for though? I don't remember him saying a time frame, as suggested here.
