For as long as I have been a Brighton fan there has always been something of a love in with defensive central midfielders. This just feels like a briliant signing, which I hope will shore up a lot of our defensive shortcomings from last year and give some of our attacking players a little more freedom.

I wouldn't be so sure about Moder (unless I've missed something?)

I think it was a necessary make-weight for a marquee signing that ultimately didn't happen.

My hunch is Moder stays and has his best season for us

I just don’t see what Moder’s best position is for us, doesn’t excel in any area, perhaps FH will change that. Another ball playing central defender perhaps?
