Looking at his highlights reels, he looks tidy, not very quick but steady. A solid 7 out of 10 every week would be great, especially with Minteh causing havoc in front of him.

Hinshlewood is a midfield player , only played RWB last season to cover for all the injuries we had last season
Hinshelwood HAS until now, played in midfield, through his youth career. There is nothing that dictates he HAS to be pigeon-holed as a midfielder. His attributes are very well suited to full back, and he's done extremely well there, so far.

Yes, but he's shown that he ia decent RWB in the PL. He hasn't shown that he's a PL standard midfielder ( yet?)

Yes, but in a 343 which Hurzeler plays the RWB is a wide midfielder in possession. I appreciate that Hinshelwood’s preferred position is more central midfielder but it may take time before he becomes a regular starter in that position.
I think we need competition for the RWB position but would hope that JH would play some games in that role.
If we do bring this guy in, I’m assuming Tariq would be off.
