Yet to decide if he’s 100%, mate.It does say he's decided 100% but he doesn't reveal which way - or did I misread that?

You actually did two paint based puns, you just didn't know it...I’d quite like to see him sign for Marseille, give RDZ a taste of his own medicine
Apologies for the lack of a paint based pun.
I like the fact he wants to make sure Hummels is 100% committed before signing him. If he just wants a paycheck he can go to SaudiSounds to me like this one is probably happening.
I get the impression that our biggest rival for Mats signature is retirement. We’ve seen Kroos go down the same route at a point where he could do another season or two if he really wanted too. I wonder if we’ve put a time limit on his decsion? It seems we’re shifting Igor anyway but we might want sowmone else if Mats wants to put his feet up.Was just looking around to see if there was an update on this and noticed this quote from Herr Hurzeler which was apparently given on Saturday and I hadn't seen it anywhere. Entirely possible it's been posted in another thread, please accept my gracious apologies if so:
"I have been in contact with the Hummels family for a long time, especially since my time at Bayern Munich," Hurzeler told Sky Sport Germany. "The basis for cooperation was always there when I had dealings with the Hummels. We value each other very much, had good discussions, but at the end of the day the player has to decide for himself whether he can identify 100 percent with the club.
"I can say that the conditions are right - otherwise we would not have pursued the matter. The discussions were very positive, both on a professional and private level."
From what I've read this summer he will definitely keep going... I think the biggest rival is the sun, which is present in countries like Spain but not so much in England.I get the impression that our biggest rival for Mats signature is retirement. He's got time to wait for what could be a giant windfall paycheck or a dream location. A mid table project may not be the perfect send off, even if he is mates with the manager.Seems to be taking a long time considering no club to negotiate with
Yeah - saw it in the newsagent this morning.I'm DEEPLY offended by your insinuation that we don't get the sun here.
Counting yesterday and today, that's a total of 6 days of sunshine this year and it isn't even 3/4 over yet.
That's nearly a week of sunshine if you add it all together.

Maybe Phoenix Rising stand a chance then ....From what I've read this summer he will definitely keep going... I think the biggest rival is the sun, which is present in countries like Spain but not so much in England.
The club have asked him to read the NSC Retirement thread before committingSeems to be taking a long time considering no club to negotiate with
Makes sense.Naylor:
Internally, there is not much optimism that interest in 35-year-old free agent Mats Hummels will end up in a deal, considering the number of clubs with bigger wage bills that are also attracted by the idea of signing the German World Cup winner.
This always felt like a long shot to me. We really only have Hurzeler's personal connection and the potential for coaching growth. That may be enough but, if some of those richer clubs are interested, then I suspect money will tellNaylor:

Carry on like this and we could soon be competing with Scotland.I'm DEEPLY offended by your insinuation that we don't get the sun here.

This reminds me of that excellent and funny Onion article where footballer's committment was 'spiralling out of control'Obviously not a proper footballer if he’s not 110% committed. Flakey.
