In a pile of football shirts
A friend of mine, who is a football shirts dealer, has obtained 3 matchworn Brighton shirts from the game against Arsenal last season. These are player swap shirts from the end of the game, I guess the Arsenal players didn’t fancy keeping them. The shirts are Barnes, Bridge & Hammond.

He’s asked if I can spread the word about them, so if you are interested in buying them please contact James or Simon at footballmatchshirts@hotmail.co.uk .

This is their website in case you’re interested http://www.footballmatchshirts.co.uk/

I’ve cleared this with Bozza, and please be assured, these are 100% genuine. Oh, and also please be assured, I’m just doing a favour for a friend, he might buy me a drink when I see him, then again, he might not.

If it interests you further, my friend is Simon Shakeshaft, the main guy behind the footballmatchshirts site, as well http://www.thenationalfootballshirtcollection.com/. Simon is a testicular cancer survivor, and he is involved with the charity Checkemlads; http://www.checkemlads.com/ so there you go chaps, if you haven’t already today, here’s a bona fide chance to legitimately fiddle with your balls.

And finally, if you’re really interested, Simon was Hereford Uniteds physio on that fateful day for The Bulls in 1997, he still regards that as his worst day in football.

There you go, a thread packed full of interest for most of you, don’t say I never bring you anything worthwhile!

Meopham, Kent.
They have an Ebay page don't they?

That just seems an easier way to sell them than getting responses to a thread on NSC.

Simon knows I'm a Brighton fan, told me they were new in, and asked if I wanted one, and asked if I could spread the word

Oh, and they haven't sold anything in their ebay shop since 2009

"Please remember that many new additions are sold before they reach the web site, so please contact James with anything specific you maybe looking for and he will add you to our mailing list. "

They tend to deal with the top flight clubs and shirts, and occasionally get shirts from teams like Brighton, which are, with the best will in the world, never going to sell for the sort of money an Arsenal, United, Barca or Real Madrid shirt will. Simon got in touch with me as he always does when he gets a Brighton shirt in, on this occasion I'm not interested as I have one, I just thought someone else might be.

This looks very interesting - cheers. I've sent off an email enquiry to get an idea of the asking price.

Thanks for posting.
