The chap sitting next to me witnessed Evans when Crawley played at Eastbourne Borough. In a large noisy stadium like the Amex, it is thankfully hard to hear him, but there with only a few hundred present his foul-mouthed rantings were by any standards totally over the top and heard by everyone, women and children alike. He goes well beyond being "a real character/wears his heart on his sleeve/ passionate" etc etc, and quite frankly it is folk like him that can give football a bad name. I am amazed that Chairmen employ him. Perhaps someone knows what his managerial record is like?
