Fair point about him getting of his arse etc. I stand by my comments about him being a crap footballer though. Anyone who supports a player who is crap is not a true Albion fan in my eyes. I bet you like Mayo as well.

Also, if the only comments are 'he gives his all' you generally know the player is crap.
I'll support ANY player in the stripes who is putting the effort in.

"Anyone who supports a player who is crap is not a true Albion fan in my eyes" - absolute RUBBISH. So turning up and slagging off all our crap players is what a real Albion fan does is it ? Is that what supporting a football club is all about ?

Blindly supporting any fool in the stripes is not the way forward.

You are not a true supporter.
Is this the bit where I'm supposed to get all annoyed, and start listing how long I've been watching the Albion, how many games I've been to, how far I've travelled, how long I've been a STH etc etc ? Cos I can't really be arsed.

You don't even know me, so don't come on here and try to tell me whether I'm a true supporter or not.

The programme is actually very good... though did anyone else spot the two errors about the 1991 Ipswich game?

Apparently Ipswich equilised with the pen (Digweed actually saved) and also apparently Tony Parks was in goal for Ipswich .. not Phil then?

and proud of it! Thank God my memory is good or else most of my mates would have no recollection of their past discrepancies at school!

The programme seems to me to be very glossily produced and generally an interesting read. Wouldn't want to buy one every game, and could well do without wanky Estate Agents flogging their stupidly over-priced dreary semis within its pages, but heigh-ho, suppose it goes with the turf. Overall, the content is OK IMHO

The only moan is that there's no way you can get any more than 15 into a binder these days...

Today's programme might have been very much worse. I had a phonecall during the week, asking me to pen some words. You can all be thankful that I said I'd rather spend Thursday sitting in the Barcelona sunshine, enjoying a beer or three.

Actually, I'd rather have spent this afternoon doing much the same.

:)

I believe they issue programme sellers with guns which they point at ususpecting passers-by until they agree to buy a programme.
