What happened to the Panini Championship stickers for this season?

As a Panini loyalist it was with a heavy heart that I switched to Match Attax this season - 7 year old son pops into the newsagents to save my blushes. Quite frankly Panini have sold their soul and artistic integrity, my old collections from the 70's and 80's, especially the World Cups, are epoch defining and the covers alone can take me back to what I was doing as Argentina '78 got underway. Remember the feeling as you saw the edge of a shiny badge as you unwrapped the pack? It was an education as well - Panini taught me so much that has served me well in life. How else would you know what the Dunfermline badge looked like?
And I knew the Albion had truly made it when our players had space to breathe with a whole sticker to themselves, rather than being squashed landscape style two to a sticker along with the other Division 2 sides. And the paper on the back of the sticker was not wasted space, no sir, in a space smaller than a matchbox you had all the facts you needed. My favourite being place of birth - as a 7 year old this was geography brought to life!
Match Attax are inferior in so many ways - not least because if you pick up the book upside down they all fall out the bloody plastic wallets and it takes 3 weeks to put them back in - but I have to doff my titfer to them for knocking out a Championship version, even if they do only give Vicente 3 stars.

We collect the Topps Premier League stickers (more on my insistance than my son's), but there seems to be less people collecting these days. Certainly, there's no-one swapping stickers in the playground any more....
