Martin Perry played an absolute blinder again today even though he must have been thinking WTF to comments like " will they do car boot sales in the car park ", " can you reduce the prices " and " you can get a complete remastered set of Elvis's works for £ 30 ".

How this bloke has put up with some of the complete numpties over the years is beyond belief. He has dedicated 15 years of his life to this project and still continues to do so.

He is a BHAFC LEGEND. Thanks Martin for all you have done for the club.

:clap::clap:

100% agree and a bloody nice bloke as well, thank you Mr P!

I, like many, watched it live today and Mr Perry was outstanding. Great opening and handled some very good, and some ridiculously stupid questions well.

And a unanimous vote in support!

What a day.

Cheers for everything that you have done for our club Mr Perry

The SYChOPhaANTIC adulation presumes that WE have forgotten Dick TIGHT and Martin's PIPeDreaMS regarding FALMER that came to little or NOTHING at ALL, not to mention the MISSING Cup FINAL income.
:bla:

Apart from that, Martin Perry is CERTAINLY a star.

Martin Perry - one of the Club's most important and influential signings and he has never kicked a ball for us.

quite right - and probably knows sweet FA about football tactics, team selections, etc and is probably not bothered. Has done his job.

MP has been absolutely first class and a superb professional throughout his time with the club. We owe him a huge thanks, as we wouldn't have got the stadium without him.

My only mark against him is that he didn't offer me a job when I asked to assist him with the stadium, as he thought he could do it all himself. Seems he was right! I just thought he'd remembered that I'd complained about the view from V block and that had counted against me......

I like the idea of a car boot sale in the car park though.

I don't need to thank him on this thread, I sang the ' One Martin Perry ............. ' song at him in WSU when he was showing someone around the concourse after a game.

He immediately stopped to listen and was genuinely moved. That's the measure of the man.

It would be great if he is commemorated at the Amex in some way when he retires. Martin's hard work and total professionalism has put us in the position we are now. Thoroughly nice bloke as well.

We've got Dick's Bar. How about having a Perry marquee outside with the fruits of Sussex on tap for those thirsty enough to have a swift one before entering the might arena.

I genuinely think that the walkway from Falmer Station to the ground should be renamed 'Perry Way'.

Or perhaps Dick's should start serving Perry, in tribute (I'm referring the the alchoholic beverage made from pears btw).

I really hope he gets the award on 15th May.
