Martin Perry played an absolute blinder again today even though he must have been thinking WTF to comments like " will they do car boot sales in the car park ", " can you reduce the prices " and " you can get a complete remastered set of Elvis's works for £ 30 ".

How this bloke has put up with some of the complete numpties over the years is beyond belief. He has dedicated 15 years of his life to this project and still continues to do so.

He is a BHAFC LEGEND. Thanks Martin for all you have done for the club.

To be fair to this bloke he asked his questions and supported the proposal when I guess a few weeks ago he was against it, so fair play to him. The other bloke going on about Presley masters and some odd latin type reference was just, a little odd.

Thank You. I thought MP was stepping down to take early retirement from his post until it was revealed he is nearing state retirement age , amazing how 15 years flies by so quickly !!.

Top, top bloke - and always approachable. Quite how he didn't smack Farrow and Hawtree today is beyond me. As well as that already mentioned don't forget the Hawtree "there needs to be more greenery on the access areas up to the stadium" comment. Both numpties of the highest order and completely shown up by King Martin.

When i got our season tickets last year i had (and took) the chance to thank him in person. Pleased i did, he is such a pro and as i'm sure alot of you know as he found time for anyone at our meeting, he lives the Amex 100%. Our club has been in his safe hands for years and boy has he looked after us. THANKS

I liked it when the odd bloke came out with this latin reference and the lady after him said " another one thats gone over our heads "

Yep fair play I think the guy going on about Elvis should be in the Raving looney Party not the Green Party.

He is a top man and is very much like TB keeps low profile and puts his head down and does his job, what i like about him is 'he knows his onions'.

The crucial role he did for us in the dark days and agreeing to be the 'neutral' 1% I am sure has got him into far more than he could have ever anticipated and I am so grateful for all the work he has done. As highlighted above, the focus on the supporters/customers of the club is truly admirable and surely a role model to organisations everywhere.

Thank you Mr Perry for all you have done for the club and all that for which you continue to do. I am sure with you at the helm for the Academy work too we have nothing to worry about but please don't retire yet!!

Yours eternally gratefully,

Dave

We have been unbelievably fortunate with our three leading lights over the last 15 years.

Dick Knight (not always my favourite, but...) who started this whole success period with his leadership.

Tony Bloom with his quiet passion, magnificent generosity and business acumen.

Martin Perry with his doggedness, ability to solve problems, communication skills second to none, not too proud to enlist the expertise of the FFA team, and sheer brilliance in his field.

Gus Poyet is one of the best managers we have had........but he's not even close to the three above........yet.
