the planet, well is there life there -Obviously I don't know for sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were bacteria under the ice caps or otherwise under the surface somewhere.

Why would you want to? There's nothing there! One rather large volcano, lot's of red dust and an unbreathable atmosphere.

There may be life there, of a primitive kind, anywhere that water can be found. So what?
