Is signing for Arsenal. Not sure he's any better than what they've already got, 26 years old from Bordeaux. It would be a shame if Nicklas Bendtner left now but Eduardo and Carlos Vela are more likely to go.

The tabloids are going to have a field day. If he moans about the playing surface it'll be "Chamakh my pitch up!" or joining Charlton after the Gooners it'll be "Chamakh Addick".

Why would it be a shame if Bendtner left? He's clearly NOT good enough for a top premiership team.

Would be a decent signing for the likes of West Ham, Bolton, etc. Not that he'd go there as he genuinely believes he is Pele reincarnate.

Not that you can be re-incarnated if you're not actually DEAD.

But his link-up play is superb. He's never going to be a prolific striker but gets vital goals at the right time. He's done a brilliant job considering Robin Van Persie's been out most of the season, Hull away and Wolves at home last minute winners. Arsenal fans love him.

Arsenal fans loved Perry Groves.

I read his autobiography and he said Julian Dicks was an absolute nutcase! Perry Groves was actually crying, pleading with George Graham to take him off as he was getting kicked to shreds. GG left him on though and i don't think he ever recovered from that.:lolol:

I agree with this. When I see him play he always strikes me as a winger/wide midfielder. He has a good touch and a decent eye for a cross. However, he is not a top class striker. I really don't understand why Wenger persists in playing him there, while he does the opposite with Walcott (plays him as a winger when he should really be a striker).

Are you serious? All the Arsenal fans I know think that he is crap and definitely not good enough for them.

As for Chamakh, he sounds like a good signing on a free. Has been on fantastic form for Bordeaux over the last couple of seasons and offers another option up front. Only time will tell though.

I think Chamakh is a fantastic signing for the Gunners, if they can sort out other areas of the field such as a new goalkeeper and strengthen the back four, and maybe one or two centre midfielders then Arsenal will be a force next season. But this is Arsene Wenger we're talking about, he won't splash the cash and Arsenal will have another trophyless season next season, if he doesn't get the chequebook out.

Do they go to any matches or is it a case of slagging him off with a pint of Fosters in the pub?

I know Finchley quite well. Shame the Bald Faced Stag has gone all up-market and the pool tables gone. The Tally Ho and O'Neills are wicked.

I actually work with this guy's cousin. She showed me a facebook message he sent her as far back as December saying he'd decided to join Arsenal and it was a dream come true for him. Obviously he's gonna be on a fair old wedge there but apparently he would have played for them for supermarket wages, he's that happy to be joining.

Not many footballers these days you can say that about. How refreshing, how Heineken.

That's great to hear, Danny. Arsene Wenger doesn't often get it wrong in the transfer market. Is his cousin fit?

Have a good night you dirty dog.

(Thanks  )

She's one of those girls that would be quite fit if only she was 3 stone lighter. Lovely girl but the fatness ruins it and being French-Morrocan I'd imagine hairier then Brian Blessed under the clobber.

I'll put a word in for you then :D

So we're talking eight pints at least. She can't be as hairy as a South African girl i porked after meeting her in the Burrell. I fell backwards into some stinging nettles in Victoria Park. Took me weeks for the pain to go. I've got a horrible feeling someone on NSC has probably shagged her as well.
