Repugnant Toad said:Jol rates him, but he's something like fifth-choice striker, and I don't think he sees him as a winger. Would love to see him back.
Icy Gull said:I rated him the last time he was here, but if he's made progress since then and Jol rates him, why would he be loaned to a League 1 club rather than a Championship side? Has he stood still over the last 3 years?
Kinky Gerbils said:I think everyone else fro his era of the youth eam has gone now - so Jol must see something?

Icy Gull said:Not disagreeing, just suprised if both he and Spurs aren't looking for better than League 1 to bring him on?
London Irish said:Interesting player, bit inconsistent when he was with us but talented. Surprised that Spurs have re-signed him, can't see him being quite good enough for there, needs to go to an ambitious Championship level club

Mark Yeates is to sign a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur, and then join City on loan.
The 21-year-old winger will extend his deal with Spurs, before spending the season with the Tigers to gain experience.
Yeates, born in Dublin, links up again with City boss Phil Parkinson, who was his manager during his loan spell at Colchester last season.
He's previously had short term loan spells at Brighton and Swindon, as well as making four first team appearances for Tottenham.
