Rashford. What a great person he is. So good to see a footballer in the headlines for all the right reasons, he is an inspiration.

Okay, he's called it wrong on the water being turned off. But...

It's a great shame that class privilege exists in this society.

People berate those hanging around outside Primark but I won't get mocked for waiting outside Waterstones tomorrow.

Katie Hopkins has decided that she doesn't want to help other kids. Of course, only middle-class people should have them as they can afford it.

Keith Joseph will be applauding from the beyond.

Man U fans must be rightly gushing with pride at having a young player like this, with such strength of conviction on social issues.

Well done Marcus. Though have a stinker at the Amex :)

It's such a shame that this season's remaining fixtures have to played out in empty stadiums.

That man deserves to walk out to a standing ovation at every ground he plays at.

It merely confirms how utterly incompetent and unfit for purpose your ruling governemt is, when a well meaning footballer carries more influence, has a better grasp of reality and has a swaying opinion over their own.

Never been more embarassed to be English politically. We are an embarassingly discraceful Country.

Said before on this thread, what a truly remarkable young Man.

I don't disagree, but surely the majority of people agree. Its simply fair logic . . . . Although, the majority have no voice, probably because they were too busy buying Nuggets n nylon suits to vote!

Van Aanholt destroyed her after that with. "He has done more in 24 hours than you have in your entire life", "bow before a king".

He didnt really get it wrong, you can cap your water use if you cant afford it to stop you overspending. It is self imposed much in the same way as feeding coins into an electricity meter. A tory MP wouldnt know about that though.

Hopefully this makes him a shoo in for BBC Sports Personality of the Year, voted for what he’s done off the field rather than on it.

Sadly I am confident that certain papers will now be digging vigorously to find "dirt" on him and his family. Respect due to the guy and any other footballers who are doing good things for their communities. I am sure his mum is very proud of him.

Especially the one calling him Daniel Rashford.

Just watched Hancock on breakfast telly.

Why, just once, can't bloody politicians admit they made a mistake? They screwed up big time on this but no, Hancock continues to insist it wasn't like that at all.

People would have far more respect if these utter tools showed a bit of humility and held their hands up. Particularly as Labour are being fairly hands off in terms of criticism.
