March is a left-sided player, who can play in defence and midfield.
Newcastle, Sunderland and one or two other Premier League clubs were interested....

The father of this lad was fitting my central heating last week, the job took ages because he was going here, there and everywhere to sort him out. He said that Sunderland were offering silly money, including flying him (the father) and his wife up every weekend and all sorts. Apparently there were agents approaching trying to cut all sorts of dodgy deals. He just wanted the lad to stay fairly local and be somewhere where he can learn and not get homesick - he wasn't interested in the money (made enough out of me I suppose). Anyway, he was 90% ready to sign for Millwall when Gus made his move, totally blew him away with his plans for the club and development of players. All very encouraging, nice to know we can compete like this and also refreshing to hear it's not always about the money and glamour.

Surprised there hasn't been any more comments. Sounds very promising.

Think we have all seen similar signings over the years to treat this with caution.

Has potential though.

His Dad was a good player. Although all anyone had to do to stop him was kick him as hard as they could in the first minute, and you wouldn't see him again. Hopefully his son doesn't suffer from this trait.

Was just wondering what company did your plumbing as I'm after some experience work thanks.

No idea, never, ever read it. I'm sure It was on the official site wasn't it? It was certainly a credible quote, he said he wasn't interested in bringing in youngsters to bolster the team while it was stuggling (with injuries) possibly refering to calls for players from the development squad to be brought into the 1st team.

Is he any relation to Zachary March, played for the Albion 100 years ago or so?

Excellent news we are finally snapping up Sussex youngsters from under the noses of Prem teams. Always been far too much talent from the area going north.

What sort of name is Solly?
