I'm sure I saw the club sitting somewhere that we had 22 players in action.

You've clearly made up 4 5 call-ups.
Having reach your opening post more thoroughly, I thought you'd popped Dahoud playing for Syria in there to see if anyone was paying attention, but it seems he has transferred his allegiances to Syria and is expected to feature tomorrow.

This begs the question, have we had a player before who has played for TWO countries?

Craig Mackail-Smith played for England C and Scotland’s first team.

He probably didn’t notice any difference.

 It's tempting.
I see Ndlovo Noexiste has been called up to the Mali full squad. Smashing player.

Half of us would be crowing about what a good prospect we know he is.

Well, Chris Birchall played for Trinidad AND Tobago.

Kemy Agustien played for the Netherlands at U-21 level (not with us) and then, when he was with us, the Curacao national team.

Tariq Lamptey (all while with us) played for the England U-21s and now Ghana.

Can't think of any other instances off the top of my head.

Friday review part two:-

Valentin Barco made his Argentinian debut (for the senior side) when he came on as a 56th minute sub in the 3-0 win over El Salvador at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

Facundo Buonanotte made his second appearance for Argentina as a 65th minute sub in the same game.

Potential Albion activity on Saturday:-

Lewis Dunk is with England as they host Brazil at Wembley Stadium.

Pascal Gross and Deniz Undav are in the German squad that plays a friendly in France.

Evan Ferguson would love to get on the scoresheet for the Republic of Ireland who host Belgium in a friendly in Dublin.

Samy Chouchane is with Tunisia in Egypt where they face Croatia.

Simon Adingra and the AFCON Champions Ivory Coast face Benin in a friendly in France.

Goalkeeper Steven Hall could feature for the Australian U-23s as they face Egypt in their WAFF U-23 Championship semi-final.

Noel Bigo Atom and his German U-19 teammates face Romania in a European Championship Elite round qualifier in Croatia.

Adrian Mazilu, with the Romanian U-19s, could face the Mighty Atom.

Adam Brett and the Wales U-17s tackle Sweden in a European Championship Elite round qualifier in Romania.

Just a couple of matches on Sunday:-

Pervis Estupinan and Jeremy Sarmiento, and the remainder of the Ecuador squad, play a friendly against Italy at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison.

Joshua Duffus could get a start for the England U-19s against the US in Morocco.

Adrian Mazilu with a last minute winner against Germany. 🤩

Translated - This is how Adrian Mazilu gave victory to the Romanian U19 🇷🇴 against Germany 🇩🇪
This is like when you shoot a three-pointer at the buzzer in basketball. Mazilu, who did not play a brilliant game, took a gamble and got it right. The thread he gave to the ball was devilish.

The German attempting to defend against him (no. 15) is Noel Bigo Atom.

Fergie with an awful pen miss for Ireland. He’s seriously short of confidence.

 Poor Ferguson - the slump continues - he’s just missed a penalty- that won’t do his confidence any good ( I think he slipped)

Really feel for him

I cross posted with @Sheebo - yep not good 🙁
Funnily as I posted it they showed the replay and there was a slip. Still looked an awful pen and he didn’t seem confidence. He’s 19 still, it will come back and our fans must stick with the lad. The potential is huge.
