It’s a difficult situation. Basically a deal and a fee had been agreed but because of the war situation that was ripped up and he joined them on loan for free. I am assuming Shaktar aren’t best pleased with that.

His contact with Fulham is up at the end of the season, his one with Shaktar is up at the end of the calendar year.

That explains a lot - I’d assumed he’d just joined Fulham in January as he’s only just started playing and couldn’t fathom out why he hadn’t been linked with us in January

He is a remarkable player and pretty lethal in front of goal, as you well know . He got injured twice soon after arriving at Fulham so is easing his way back - last night was his first start. You bet your life that Fulham will be doing their utmost to keep him at the club, showering him with love and money.

I did my bit by giving his family directions to the Cottage earlier in the season - they were standing in Bishops Park with paper tickets in their hands looking a bit lost. I asked if I could help and who they supported ('The right answer is Fulham', I advised them). They told me they were there to watch Manor Solomon and I later googled them to confirm their identity.
